August 2013

August 2013

Monday 5 August 2013 marks a milestone at Holy Spirit Northside Private Hospital.

The Hospital will welcome four medical officers who will work 24/7 to cover all the wards.

Dr Rob Barnett Medical Director and Director of ICU said, “Their roles are under the governance of the Intensive Care Unit, however whilst they will have some roles in the ICU they will be available to the wards at all times”.

Rosters are for 12-hour shifts, 7 days on and 7 days off and alternately days and nights.

Dr Rob Barnett continues, “The medical officers will complement our busy acute tertiary facility, improve patient care and provide support to our nurses and specialists”.
